Russell's undergraduate training was at Christ's College, Cambridge and then at Guy's, Kings and St Thomas' Medical School in London, qualifying in 2002. He trained as a junior doctor in London and became convinced of a career in Clinical Oncology after working for six months in the Royal Marsden Hospital. Russell gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2010 and Advanced Radiotherapy Clinical Research Fellowship at Velindre Cancer Centre in 2011. He completed his MSc with the Institute of Cancer Research in London in 2013 researching Human Papilloma Virus specific T-cell immune responses before and after chemoradiotherapy for oropharyngeal cancer.

Russell took up his post as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in the South West Wales Cancer Centre in 2013 where his specialist tumour sites are head & neck and gynaecological cancers. He is trained in the use of Proton Beam Therapy and looks forward to developing the evidence base for the benefit of this treatment in these tumour sites.

Len is a general dental practitioner, running a seven surgery mixed NHS and private practice in North East London. He is an experienced vocational trainer for the London Deanery, a dento-legal advisor for the BDA and a Dental tutor for Health Education East of England. Len is also lead lecturer for the MA in Dental Law and Ethics at the University of Bedfordshire. He has published "Legal aspects of general dental practice" and co-authored “Understanding NHS dentistry”, he writes and presents regularly about legal and ethical issues as well as NHS contractual issues particularly in relation to the NHS contract prototypes. Len is also an ORE examiner.

Simon works at Guy's Hospital, London and Queen Victoria Hospital, Sussex. His clinical practice and research interests are dentoalveolar CBCT and salivary gland interventional radiology.

He has an interest in medicolegal disputes and he is published in several peer review journals and books. He is a passionate educator to undergraduates at KCL and post-graduate audiences around the world in person and online.

Jen Kirby, Senior Speciality Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry   

Jen qualified form the University of Glasgow in 2010 and continued her professional development in general dental practice, community and hospital settings. In 2014 she commenced her specialty training in Paediatric Dentistry in Sheffield, completed a Masters in Paediatric Dentistry with distinction in 2016 and a PG Cert in Medical Leadership with merit in 2017. Jen is now in her final year of specialty training. 

In 2016 she took a secondment from training to commence a Leadership Fellowship, developing pathways focused upon improving the management of missed dental appointments and earlier information sharing with other professionals. Working with the British Dental Association the developed 'Was Not Brought' pathway is now freely available.
