BDA Wales: adverse weather conditions affecting dental contractual requirements

15 May 2018

BDA Wales is continuing to campaign for the Health Boards to reduce the contractual requirement for this year from 95% to 94% to reflect the adverse weather we experienced in March, and the strain that this has put on dental practices.

Aneurin Bevan Health Board have now agreed to 94% and Hywel Dda have stated while they won’t agree to a blanket 94%, they will discuss it with individual practices who contact the health board.

ABMU have declined, and we are still waiting to hear from Betsi Cadwaladr, Cwm Taf and Cardiff and Vale.

If you experienced issues during the adverse weather that you think have affected your ability to fulfil your contract, please get in touch with us and we can help make your case with the Health Board.
