#Dentistry24: celebrating the world of dentistry over 24-hours

The BDA is encouraging dentists across the globe to celebrate the good work of the dental profession on 24 May 2019, using social media – Twitter and Instagram, with the hashtag #Dentistry24.
This independent campaign aims to share the positive impact and the experiences of the dental profession during a 24-hour period online.
This is a great opportunity to share what you are doing in practice, promote your work , share your success, and publicly thank your colleagues and teams for their contributions.
Last year, the first-ever #Dentistry24 campaign generated over 2 million Twitter impressions, and helped build a network of dentistry online.
The 2018 #Dentistry24 campaign was initiated by UK dentists Tashfeen Kholasi, Devika Vadher and a team of Health Education England Clinical Fellows who wanted to create a platform to be able to thank, celebrate, share and collaborate dentistry using digital media to highlight the great work dentists do.
This year, we are promoting our new Instagram account – where we will be highlighting stories of dentists at work, sharing career development advice, as well as our public health campaigns on sugar, children's oral health, oral cancer, and more – please follow us @britishdentalassociation to find out more.
