Country Councils
Consisting of representatives elected from local branches and sections, country councils consider and advise the board on all matters relating to dentistry in the country concerned.
The Councils are the ‘voice’ of members to the board, and members of country councils are an essential link between the 'grass roots' and those directing the Association. The representatives in all the Country Councils meet around twice a year as the United Kingdom Council. The UK Council has an important role on behalf of members in holding the board to account and receives a detailed annual report and review of the board’s activities.
