Receiving New Patient Premium payments as an associate

From March 2024, NHS England has paid a New Patient Premium (NPP) to contractors for seeing patients who haven’t been seen in the last 24 months.

From March 2024, NHS England has paid a New Patient Premium (NPP) to contractors for seeing patients who haven’t been seen in the last 24 months.

The Premium is worth £15 where the patient needs a band 1 and £50 where they need a band 2 or 3. This payment is converted into UDAs and these can be claimed against the contract value.
