The purpose of the calculator

Following the Budget's changes to employer's National Insurance Contributions for 2025/26 onwards, we have produced this calculator to help you understand the potential impact on your practice.

Please note that the calculator is only available to our members - please sign in to be able to download it. Not a member? You can explore our membership options and join today

How to use the calculator

  1. Enter your practice details: The calculator allows you to enter the details of your practice so that you can get a personalised estimate of the changes to your National Insurance (NI) costs.
  2. Include wage adjustments: The Budget also introduced an increase to the minimum wage, and so the calculator allows you to factor in pay rises for next year so that you can get a more accurate idea of how changes to your wage bill will impact on NI costs.
  3. Get an estimate: After entering the relevant data, you will receive a projected estimate of how NI changes and wage adjustments may influence your expenses.

This calculator provides an estimate only and we would encourage you to take advice from your accountant.
