National insurance and employment allowance calculator
Estimate your practice's national insurance contributions and employment allowances for 2025/26 onwards
The purpose of the calculator
Following the Budget's changes to employer's national insurance (NI) contributions for 2025/26 onwards, we've produced this calculator to help you understand the potential impact on your practice.
Please note that the calculator is only available to our members - please sign in to be able to download it. Not a member? You can explore our membership options and join today.
How to use the calculator
- Enter your practice details: The calculator allows you to enter the details of your practice so that you can get a personalised estimate of the changes to your NI costs.
- Include wage adjustments: The Budget also introduced an increase to the minimum wage, and so the calculator allows you to factor in pay rises for next year so that you can get a more accurate idea of how changes to your wage bill will impact on NI costs.
- Get an estimate: After entering the relevant data, you'll receive a projected estimate of how national insurance changes and wage adjustments may influence your expenses.
This calculator provides an estimate only and we would encourage you to take advice from your accountant.
