Meet the team
Richard Harris, Head of Compliance
Richard heads up the team which advises members on UK regulatory bodies, such as the CQC. He has more than 25 years' experience of advising dentists on a variety of practice-based issues and has been heavily involved with developing our related advice.
Harriet Patel, Practice Management Consultant – Compliance and Health and Safety Compliance
Harriet advises on a wide range of topics which include CQC and other regulatory body compliance and all aspects of health and safety within a dental practice. She is a qualified dentist and has experience in running her own practice, so can offer advice in a manner that is both practical and achievable.
Lynn Woods, Practice Management Consultant – Compliance and Health and Safety Compliance
Lynn joined the team after studying for a degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and the Environment at London South Bank University. She has been advising members for over 20 years on all aspects of health and safety in general dental practice, including infection prevention and control and radiation protection.
Sarah Williams, Practice Management Consultant – Compliance and Health and Safety Compliance
Sarah is a health and safety compliance advisor. Originally from a dental nursing background, she has spent 20 years in dental practice/clinical management roles which have seen her working on many compliance related matters. Sarah has also carried out the role of a CQC registered manager and has the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Sarah is also a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
