Dentistry today

We know dentists do exceptional things, every day. But we want to show the world what dentistry looks like in the UK today, and we are celebrating the clinicians, the teachers and the innovators that make up our profession.

As the professional association for dentist in the UK, we work to promote a positive image of dentistry. The work of many dentists goes unsung and we want to celebrate the contributions our members and dentists across the UK make, in all fields of practice.

#Dentistry24 - celebrate dentistry on 24 May

We are supporting #dentistry24 on 24 May 2018 and encouraging all dental professionals to share their contribution and experiences via social media and to use this to network.

The aim of the day is to share positive impacts and experiences, for example, great patient care, examples of team working, collaborative projects, innovative ideas, cutting-edge research or charitable work.

To get involved on 24 May:

1. Follow us on social media @thebda

2. Retweet ours and others tweets with the hashtag #dentistry24

3. Follow everyone who retweets with the hashtag!
