The BDA's longstanding Preparing for retirement seminar will now be delivered online in November 2020. You can book all three parts of the online event to gain financial advice on your retirement and understand the issues associated with selling your practice. Alternatively, you can book one or two of the events depending on your current needs.

 

Aim:

This online event will provide the participant with a guide to retirement and pension planning.

 

Learning objectives:

  • Understand what is needed when pre-retirement planning
  • Examine the benefits of the NHS pension
  • Identify what is required when planning at the retirement stage

Learning content:

The online event will provide the participant with the tools needed to successfully start planning their retirement.  This will be done through a series of 3 lectures with the chance to ask each speaker questions at the end of their presentation.

CPD certificates will be issued once attendance has been validated and questionnaire responses reviewed.

 

Cancellation terms

All cancellations must be received in writing by email to events@bda.org.  Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to a virtual event will be entitled to a 100% refund. For cancellations received after this time, no refund will be given. Failure to attend the event on the day will constitute late cancellation and no refund will be given.
