James Goolnik, Practice Owner and Dentist, London

James qualified in 1992 from King's College London. He has worked exclusively in the City since 1995 and took two years off to gain a Masters degree in Conservative dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute. He founded Bow Lane Dental Group, a multi-speciality dental practice with an onsite laboratory in 2001.

James is a past-president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association. He is a judge for both the Dental Industry Awards and the Dentistry awards.

He lectures internationally and has delivered over 90 seminars on tooth whitening techniques, minimal invasive dentistry, dental marketing and growing your business whilst having a life.

His book Brush is a number one best seller on Amazon and all the profits go to Dentaid. The first project was in Malawi where James installed a two surgery dental practice and led a dental team to deliver a skills transfer workshop. His current project is tackling the problem of sugar being used as a reward for children.

Nigel Reece, Managing Director, Dental Design

Nigel founded Dental Design – the leading design and marketing agency for the dental profession – back in 2000. Its key focus is delivering dental marketing strategies with measurable ROI, through website design, SEO/PPC, social media, e-mail marketing and much more.

Following a successful career in sales and marketing management, which included Blue Chip organisations such as Marks & Spencer, Mars and BUPA, Nigel established Dental Design, a company which has enjoyed great success since its inception, and today helps many practices across the UK to develop and maintain a professional and assured marketing presence.

Nigel has a particular interest in digital marketing and a real passion for driving businesses forward through a blend of creative and marketing skills.


Daz Singh, Practice Owner and Dentist, Liverpool

Daz qualified in 2005 from the University of Liverpool. In 2008, with his business partner, he co-founded, Ollie & Darsh, a private aesthetically focused GDP based dental clinic in the centre of Liverpool. His clinical focus and interests are around delivering ortho-restorative aesthetic solutions to his patients in a minimally invasive way.

He is a founding member of the European Society of Aesthetic Dentistry and is also a member of both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also lectured nationally as an instructor for both Invisalign GO and 6 Month Smiles.


Simon Tucker, Owner, Profitable Conversations

Simon is a salesman (please don't be put off!), an experienced business builder and a people developer. He has operated nationally and internationally with some of the leading dental companies. Starting as a toothbrush salesman and culminating as European Sales Director for Kerr, he has worked and lived in the UK, USA and Switzerland visiting dental practices in dozens of countries.

Recently, Simon and two colleagues built Medenta Finance from zero to over £24million per year in patient finance sales. In 2011, Medenta was sold to Practice Plan.

As well as helping dental practices, Simon also acts as consultant and advisor to many dental businesses. Since 2016, he has been CEO of Dental Sky Wholesaler Ltd

Having spent more than 36 years working with and observing dentists and dental technicians, Simon has built a wide knowledge of the inner workings of successful dental practices. By watching what you currently do, Simon builds a training programme to fit your exact needs, and works with you and your whole team so that you each become much more comfortable and effective with 'sales' and deliver a fabulous patient experience.

Simon is married to Christine and has a grownup son and daughter. His only claim to fame is that he appeared on the BBC Children's programme, "Why don't you…" in 1973.
