IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Bromley and Beckenham Section
What to expect
Join the Bromley and Beckenham Section for a three course meal, followed by a lecture by Anish Shah, and a Section AGM (open to BDA members only) at 21:45. His lecture will aim to improve your confidence in the recognition and management of medical emergencies in the dental practice setting. Anish will cover the ABCDE assessment, common medical emergencies, emergency drugs and management of medical emergencies.

Meet the speaker
Anish qualified from Guys Hospital in the 90s. After a year of vocational training, he embarked on a career in Oral Surgery. He was admitted onto the Specialist Register in 2006 and appointed Consultant in 2010. Anish now divides his time as a Consultant in three hospitals as well as private practice. He has a keen interest in Oral Medicine and regularly lectures on subjects in relation to both Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. Anish is an Advanced Life Support Instructor with Resus (UK) and provides numerous courses including Dental Immediate Life Support.
