What to expect

Join the Bromley and Beckenham Section for a three course meal, followed by a lecture by Tim Newton. His lecture will provide an overview of the published information on the well being of the dental team, including the impact of stress and burnout, and identify evidence based approaches to tackling the impact of stress and burnout on well being.

Meet the speaker

Tim Newton Photo 250X250 Tim Newton Professor of Psychology as Applied to Dentistry, King’s College London

Tim is married to Helen Travess, Consultant Orthodontist and they have one son, Josh. Outside this, Tim is employed by King’s College London as Professor of Psychology as Applied to Dentistry, spending half his time working within the NHS as Honorary Consultant Health Psychologist. Tim’s clinical work is particularly focused on individuals with dental phobia, and support for individual’s facing challenging dental procedures.
