What to expect

Join the Dundee and Perth Section at 18:30 for networking and refreshments, followed by a lecture which will discuss the use of periodontal surgery in the management of periodontitis. Lyndsey will outline how periodontal surgery fits into the overall management of periodontal disease, explore the types of periodontal surgery that can be considered in different clinical situations, evaluate patient selection criteria, and discuss how to optimise patients for periodontal surgery through effective non-surgical management.

Meet the speaker

Lyndsey Webb Consultant in Restorative Dentistry

Lyndsey Webb is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Dundee Dental Hospital and Research School. She qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2003 and initially worked in general dental practice before transitioning to hospital dentistry. In 2018, Lyndsey completed her specialty training in Restorative Dentistry.

Since then, she has been appointed as a Consultant at Dundee Dental Hospital, where she became the Clinical Lead of the Restorative Dentistry department in 2024. Her clinical expertise focuses on the management of hypodontia, developmental and acquired dental anomalies, and periodontal treatment.
