IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Exeter and District Section

What to expect

The presentation will attempt to provide an overview of the orthodontic services provided at Exeter Orthodontics and the specialist team who work there will be introduced. There will be a brief overview of IOTN and an explanation of what to refer and when. Given the large number of referrals, the waiting list is structured according to age and this will be discussed.

A number of clinical cases and outcomes will be presented to provide feedback for local referring colleagues, together with a discussion of what can be achieved with contemporary orthodontics. There will be an emphasis on the benefits of good communication and close cooperation in multi-disciplinary cases.

The presentation will focus on:

  • Introduce the team working at Exeter Orthodontics
  • Discuss IOTN, how referrals and our NHS waiting list is managed
  • Present a number of interesting cases referred by local dental practitioners
