What to expect

This session will help delegates understand how the UK pension system works, including NHS, state pension and private pensions.  The taxation of pension savings and recent changes concerning age discrimination will be discussed.

Meet the speaker

Phil Mcevoy Phil McEvoy Head of Pensions - British Dental Association

Phil has nearly 20 years' experience in the pensions industry, the majority having been spent representing member interests, particularly in the NHS and other areas of the public sector. He sits on advisory boards for the NHS Pension Schemes across the UK.

If you feel at all unwell, we encourage you to take a lateral flow test the evening before you are due to arrive - should your test result be positive, we ask you not to attend.

If your test is negative, but you do have symptoms of COVID-19 (a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loss/changes to your sense of taste or smell) we kindly request you consider not attending the event to mitigate any risk to other attendees.
