What to expect

This evening event suitable for the whole dental team will be an opportunity to understand common mistakes in dentistry which affect the outcome of treatments for denture-wearing patients.

As an experienced dental technician, Dean Ward, will be discussing common errors in everyday practice and how to provide better treatments for our patients and learn to enjoy making dentures. 

The presentation will focus on:

  • Appreciating the importance of effective communication within the dental team 
  • Identifying stages and information necessary for complete and partial denture success
  • Determining what digital tools can be used for clear and effective communication with patients
  • Recognizing and troubleshooting common denture problems and solutions
  • Describing clinical and technical workflows for all stages of denture fabrication
  • Exploring future developments for digital dentures.

Meet the speaker

Dean Ward 250X250 Cropped Dean Ward Clinical Dental Technician

Dean Ward is the Director of Innovate Dental Laboratory and has 27 years of experience. He is Ivoclar certified trainer and key opinion leader.

Dean is BPS Technical and Clinical Trainer and member of the Dental Technicians Guild. He has particular interest in removable and full arch implant prosthetics.
