Dr Sanjeev Bhanderi qualified in 1993 from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals University of London. He completed is postgraduate training in Endodontology at the University of Manchester Dental hospital in 1997 and has been a GDC registered Specialist in Endodontics since 2000.

From 2020 to 2022, Sanjeev was elected as President of the British Endodontic Society. He is also an active specialist member of the American Association of Endodontics and has a particular interest in endodontic microsurgery. He also works as a certified medico-legal witness at (University of Cardiff Law School.

Throughout his career, Sanjeev has worked exclusively in private Specialist endodontic practices in Manchester, Liverpool, and London. In 2009, Sanjeev opened his new state-of-the-art Specialist endodontic practice ENDO61 in South Manchester where he runs live clinical demos and courses for visiting practitioners and postgraduate students.

Dr Shanil Patel graduated from the University of Leeds and started pursuing a career within endodontics. He has worked in multiple practices doing a mixture of NHS and private dentistry and enhanced his surgical skills and medical knowledge during his maxillofacial training year at Wythenshawe Hospital.

He has completed his MFDS qualification to become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has since passed the Membership in Endodontics specialty examinations and completed his Doctorate, centred around the survival of posterior root-filled teeth.

Shanil has taught on multiple certified courses across the country and has presented his research internationally. He has won various dental awards such as the Endodontic Harty Prize, the undergraduate Oral Surgery Award and the Northwest Dental Core Training Poster Prize.

Shanil currently works in multiple private practices across Central London providing complex endodontics, and also works with Dr Sanj Bhanderi at Endo61, Manchester.
