This evening's Presidential address features two lectures - the first will provide an overview of Helen Kaney's career as a dentist who, after an initial 10 years in general practice, chose a different and slightly unusual career path with a view to using legal training to help, advise and defend fellow professional when they were in difficulty.
The second lecture from Sharon Caro will give an overview and understanding of the work of an experienced general dental practitioner who has an additional element to her career as an expert witness, acting on the instructions of dental defence organisations in clinical negligence claims and as an expert witness in Professional Conduct Committee Hearings before the Dental Professionals Hearing Service.

On street car parking
Parking bays are located on St Vincent Street, Blythswood Street and Douglas Street which surround the building. Parking is chargeable Monday – Sunday by using the meter or Ringo app. Blue badge holders can park in bays free of charge.
Multi-storey car parks
