Meet the speaker

Zahid Khan was appointed as Consultant in Oral Medicine at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester in 2023 where he is also involved with the joint oral medicine/ dermatology clinic. He completed his undergraduate dental degree at The University of Birmingham. He has an interest in the oral manifestations of underlying medical conditions particularly in rheumatology, dermatology and gastroenterology. He was the previous President of the Odontology section of the Manchester Medical Society back in 2021 to 2022. He is a current examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is an Associate Editor for the Oral Surgery Journal.
