General dental practitioners: Share your experiences working in dentistry

As ministers pretend that NHS dentistry is on the road to recovery, the exodus from the workforce continues, and with inflation at a record high, we need to make the case for appropriate pay uplifts and contract expenses.

To help us do this, we are inviting general dental practitioners to share experiences of working in General Dental Practice across the UK.

You can provide unique insight into the pressures the workforce is currently facing, including recruitment and retention issues, motivation, and morale. We want to understand more about your job satisfaction and well-being while discussing your future career intentions.

Each year we submit evidence to the Doctors and Dentists Review Body, which makes recommendations on dentists pay. Your participation in our survey will help to inform and shape the work we do lobbying the government on your behalf.

A sample of our members have received a unique link to the survey, so please check both your inbox and junk folders for our email entitled ‘Have your say! – Evidence needed for pay uplift.’

Participate in our ten-to-fifteen-minutes survey and be entered into a draw to win a £100 gift card.

Any information you provide when completing the survey will be confidential and completely anonymous. We will not pass any details on to any third parties, and data will be used for research purposes only.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our Research Team at [email protected].
