The manufacturer of Glucagon has confirmed that there are temporary distribution issues with the supply but no plans for discontinuation in the UK. We advise practices to check the expiry dates of any stock and allow extra time for delivery when placing orders.
Alliance Healthcare have confirmed that Ogluo, an alternative to Glucagon, can be ordered from them while the supply is disrupted. Dental practices will need to open an account to place an order directly, or you can place orders through your usual supplier who will be able to liaise with Alliance Healthcare.
