BDA statement on Ukraine

The BDA joins other organisations in the health sector in the UK and around the globe to express its deep concern about the war in Ukraine and the huge humanitarian crisis that has resulted since the Russian invasion of the country.

The international dental organisations of which we are members have issued the following statements:

  • International Dental Federation (FDI) statement
  • Council of European Dentists (CED) and FDI European Regional Organisation (ERO) joint statement
  • Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) statement

Support information

The BDA offers free membership to refugee and asylum-seeker dentists. We would like to invite any Ukrainian dentists who have fled the war to get in touch for further information about dentistry in the UK and the free membership scheme.
