    If your pension has been affected by age discrimination, NHS Pensions should reach out to you from February 2022 to remedy the situation. This will apply to you, if you joined a public service pension scheme on or before 31 March 2012 and were still a member of the scheme on 1st April 2015.

  • NHS England: 65% activity target imposed

    A 65% activity target was imposed with minutes to spare and ahead of any meaningful relaxation of COVID restrictions last week. From 1 October, practices are obliged to meet 65% of their pre-COVID activity levels or face financial penalties. The target will remain in place until 1 January 2022.

  • Wales: Stopping in-year GDS clawback; standing against UDAs

    Attempts by Swansea Bay University Health Board to introduce in-year clawback were indefensible and went against GDS contractual conditions. We have now successfully campaigned to stop Local Health Boards in Wales from financially penalising practices who in Q1 had not reached a stipulated threshold of 80% fluoride varnish applications for specified groups of NHS patients.
