BDA Northern Ireland and its elected committee members seek to improve conditions for the delivery of dental services across NI, negotiating with elected representatives and Government bodies.
Dentists working in Northern Ireland are represented through the
Northern Ireland Dental Practice Committee,
Northern Ireland Community Dentists Committee, and
Northern Ireland Council.
Northern Ireland is also represented through one seat on the board (PEC), which sets our policy and strategic direction.
BDA NI seeks to influence other key-decision makers, including educational institutions, elected representatives, statutory, and non-statutory organisations.
Our committees meet regularly to consider the issues affecting the dental profession and patient care. BDA representatives take these issues forward into discussion and negotiation with elected representatives, Government bodies and the range of bodies responsible for delivery of health and social care.
BDA Northern Ireland also has an
active Branch and groups which run regular events, most of which are free for members.
